DARA Bermingham won the senior boys' 1500m title at the North Leinster T & F championships in Santry Stadium. His success means he has won seven titles over the years in North Leinster schools athletes. His successes include two senior and one intermediate cross country title, two senior 1500m, 1 intermediate 800m and a steeplechase crown.

Other Raheny medal winners at the championships included Claire Fox (silver) senior 800m; the O'Sullivans twins, Karl and Jenny ewho won bronze medals in the senior 5000m and 3000m respectively. Michael Hynes won both the boys' intermediate 100m and 200m titles. Jamie Davis was second in senior 400m; David Rooney second in senior 5000; and Eitienne Corish 3rd in senior steeplechase.  In the intermediate grade Chris Jones won the 800m while Louise Bernard was second in the girls 800m. In the junior events Kevin Pierce was second in the 1500m while Jordan Logue was 3rd in the same event.
