Raheny have 12 runners in City Swift 10 miler ON his debut over the distance, Ian Chaney finished a credible 4th in the BHAA City Swift 10 mile race in Rathcoole on Saturday, September 9. Over a hilly two lap course, Chaney posted a time of 55.47. Killian Lonergan (50.16) won the race, ahead of Peter Mathews (50.38). Bernard Lynch was 11th in 58.44, comfortably breaking the one hour barrier, while Michael Gynax was the club's third finisher in 1.00.25 - he also helped the Social Welfare team take the top prize in the team event. The club's other finishers were: 31st Dara O'Kearney (1:03.29), 63rd Chris Keeling (1:07.48), 72nd Gerard Kelsh (1:08.59), 86th Sean McGoldrick (1:10.25), 100th Kathleen Cheshire (1:12.08), 143rd Ann Reede (1:17.56), 145th Dave Brady (1:18.24), 201th Maurice Timmins (1:30.21) & 221st Maurice Mullins (1:35.59) |
